As New Zealand’s leading manufacturer, supplier and exporter of frozen pastry, butter based bakery products and sauces, Quality Foods Southland (QFS) needs suppliers that can match its high standards.

That’s why, in 2006, the Invercargill-based business opted to enlist the services of McCallums Group.

QFS Logistics Manager Alistair Ball said McCallums Group’s proposal at the time had been a good one, and the company had lived up to every word.

“They could provide a really wide range of services for us, not only in terms of workwear – providing overalls and other garments as well as laundering and returning them to us; but they could supply our mats, mop heads, cloths, those sorts of things,” he said.

“They provide clothing for our entire site, from our production teams, to our technical and QA department and maintenance staff … and they do an absolutely professional job.”

As well as supplying a number of New Zealand and Australian companies, QFS exports much of its product to Japan, as well as Hong Kong, Dubai and more recently China.

With customers expecting nothing less than high class New Zealand ingredients, product and service, QFS expects the same from its suppliers and partners.
