Selector Uniforms has been part of McCallums Group for the past three years where, from its home at 216 Dee Street, it outfits clients, not just locally but, right across New Zealand.
Set up by Donna and Colin Keyse in 1993 as Dynamix Teamwear, the couple joined forces with McCallums Group in 2014, rebranding to Selector Uniforms to provide a one stop shop for organisations, including sports teams and clubs, schools, businesses and events that want to create and enhance their own unique image and identity.
“We have a huge choice of clothing to suit any end user and can then add all the logos they need, all in one place. We can even design the logo, if needed”, says Colin.
Not just clothing either. They also supply a big selection of brandable promotional items and giftware; everything from keyrings, bags, cups and much more. All designed to be monogrammed with a client’s logo.
With both companies Southland-owned and operated and sharing similar family-based histories, the merger has been positive for all concerned.
Says Colin: “Wayne (McCallum) and I are both pretty passionate Southlanders, we share similar business ethics, so it’s a really comfortable mix.”
This includes a belief in giving back to the community through sponsorship and support.
Selector Uniforms isn’t only serving Southlanders, but has contracts in Auckland where it runs a production and monogramming house. In fact, up to 20 percent of Selector Uniforms’ work comes from Auckland.
