And the winner is…McCallums Group! On the 27th September at the Ascot Park Hotel in Invercargill, the Westpac Southland Business Excellence Awards were announced, and we are pleased to announce we won one of the prestigious awards after making it to the finals of two categories!
The Southland Times Consumer Service Sector Award recognises enterprises in the hospitality, tourism or retail sector that provides outstanding products or services.
But not only have we won the Consumer Service Award; we’ve just been informed of our win at the 2019 Environmental Southland Community Awards as well! Winners of the Environmental Leadership & Innovation in Business, we wowed the judges with our staggering 85% reduction in carbon footprint – which, let’s face it – is fairly impressive. But to achieve this while also growing our business is something we are very proud of and we owe this to our entire team.
